LexUAE provides legal information intended for users aged 18 and above.
Are you 18 years of age or older?
Please read the terms below and scroll to the end to accept.
These Terms of Use govern access to LexUAE and its AI information tools, including its chatbots and contract simplifier. The identified operator is referred to as “LexUAE”, “we”, “us” or “our”. “You” means the individual using the platform or, where applicable, the organisation that individual is authorised to represent. LexUAE is a platform name and is not, by itself, the identification of a separate legal entity.
By accessing or using LexUAE, you agree to these Terms. Where an acceptance control is displayed, you must affirmatively accept these Terms before using the relevant feature. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is processed and must be made available alongside these Terms. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate consent required by law.
The AI tools and document upload features are restricted to persons aged 18 or older who have legal capacity to enter this agreement. You must provide accurate registration and eligibility information, keep your login credentials secure and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised use. You must not misrepresent your age or bypass access restrictions. An organisation may use the platform only through an authorised representative. Access is subject to any additional provider eligibility and geographical restrictions disclosed for a feature.
LexUAE provides AI-generated legal information for educational and informational purposes only. Responses are not legal advice, a professional legal opinion, or a substitute for advice from a qualified UAE-licensed legal professional. No lawyer-client, solicitor-client, fiduciary or professional advisory relationship arises from using LexUAE or contacting its operator.
The contract simplifier explains wording in general language. It does not determine whether a contract is valid, enforceable, suitable for you or safe to sign. You must obtain qualified professional advice before relying on information for a legal decision, deadline, dispute or transaction. Communications with LexUAE are not represented as legally privileged.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LexUAE and its outputs are provided “as is” and “as available”, without express or implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. AI may omit relevant facts, misinterpret text or generate incorrect statements and citations. Official sourcing does not guarantee that a response identifies the applicable law, amendments or jurisdiction.
You are responsible for independently checking the original legislation, current amendments and relevant jurisdiction before acting. Federal, emirate-level and special-jurisdiction rules may differ. A publication date, access date or citation does not by itself confirm that a provision remains applicable. No disclaimer excludes a warranty or obligation that applicable law makes mandatory.
You must use LexUAE lawfully. You must not submit confidential or privileged material, trade secrets, sensitive personal data, identity documents, passwords, financial account details or other information you are not authorised to disclose. Account information requested through designated registration fields is governed by the Privacy Policy; it must not be unnecessarily included in AI prompts or documents.
Before submitting a permitted document or question, you must remove personal identifiers, signatures, confidential business details and information about other people that you are not authorised to share. You represent that you own the content or have all permissions necessary for its submission and the processing disclosed for that feature. Possession of a document, or being a party to it, does not necessarily authorise disclosure of every part of it. If you cannot meet these conditions, do not upload it.
You remain responsible for your own breach of a confidentiality agreement, infringement or unlawful disclosure. You must not use the platform to impersonate others, evade restrictions, interfere with security, access another user’s information or infringe third-party rights. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect users and the service.
LexUAE uses external hosting, search and AI services. Depending on the feature, your submitted content may be transmitted to and processed by Base44 and other providers identified in the Privacy Policy or the feature-specific notice. Processing may take place outside the UAE. Search queries may be sent to a search provider where the relevant feature uses web retrieval. Do not assume that an uploaded contract or chatbot message stays exclusively on your device or is seen only by LexUAE.
Where the applicable provider terms, service settings and law permit, submitted content and generated outputs may be retained, reviewed by humans, or used to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning systems, including large language models. This possibility is not a statement that every submission is used for training. The Privacy Policy and the notice displayed before submission must accurately identify the practices applicable to the feature you choose.
Subject to applicable law and any separately required consent, you authorise the processing necessary to deliver your requested service as described in those notices. You retain ownership of your submitted content and grant only the rights necessary for that processing and any other specifically disclosed, lawfully authorised use. Nothing in these Terms grants rights you do not possess or permits a provider to disregard its own obligations. Consent to training must be obtained separately where required; accepting these Terms alone does not supply consent for every possible purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree not to hold LexUAE, its operator or persons acting on its behalf liable solely because content you voluntarily submit is processed, retained or used for AI improvement or LLM training in accordance with the accurate disclosures provided before submission, your valid authorisation where required, and applicable law. This includes claims arising from your submission of prohibited content contrary to Section 5, but only to the extent the claimed loss is attributable to your own breach and liability may lawfully be excluded.
This acknowledgement is not permission to upload prohibited information and is not a blanket waiver. It does not excuse unlawful processing, misleading disclosures, unauthorised use, a failure to meet mandatory security obligations or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your contractual rights against a provider remain governed by the applicable law and provider terms; these Terms do not independently release that provider from its obligations.
The Privacy Policy must explain the information collected, purposes and legal bases, relevant providers, international processing, retention practices, account and document access, and how to make a privacy request. You may contact the operator at the address above to raise a data-protection concern or request assistance with applicable rights. Requests will be handled subject to applicable law and any lawful retention requirements.
No online service can promise absolute security. That does not remove the operator’s or a provider’s applicable privacy and security duties. Do not rely on a warning or upload confirmation as a guarantee that content is anonymous, that no copy exists, or that deletion from LexUAE necessarily removes every provider copy or trained-model effect. No indefinite retention or unrestricted training right is created by this section.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LexUAE, its operator and affiliates exclude liability for loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the platform or its outputs, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss, loss of profits, business interruption, loss of opportunity and loss of data. The specific acknowledgement in Section 6.1 applies to disclosed, lawfully authorised provider processing and possible AI training.
All exclusions apply only so far as lawful. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, liability for harmful acts where exclusion is prohibited, or any mandatory consumer, privacy or other statutory right or remedy. These Terms do not prevent complaints to competent authorities. If an exclusion is unenforceable, applicable law governs the remaining liability; no wording here guarantees immunity from a claim.
LexUAE branding, original platform content and software belong to the operator or their respective licensors, except for user content, official legal materials and other third-party material whose rights remain with their owners. Subject to these Terms, you may access the platform for lawful personal or internal informational use. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell or create derivative works from protected platform material without permission, except as applicable law permits. These restrictions do not claim exclusive rights over legislation or restrict lawful use of material owned by others.
Features may be subject to usage allowances, provider outages and technical limits. We may suspend a feature or account where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, misuse, compliance or provider availability. We do not promise uninterrupted access, completion of a task or preservation of material beyond the retention practices disclosed in the Privacy Policy. Termination does not affect rights already accrued, mandatory data rights or provisions intended to survive, including intellectual property, applicable liability limitations and dispute provisions.
We may revise these Terms prospectively by posting an updated version and effective date. Material changes will be notified reasonably in advance where practicable and as required by law. Where fresh agreement or consent is required, we will request it before the relevant change applies. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only to the extent legally valid; it does not replace separately required consent or retroactively authorise new uses of previously collected data.
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where relevant, the laws of the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent UAE courts as determined by applicable law, without prejudice to mandatory jurisdiction or consumer protections. No arbitration requirement is imposed by these Terms.
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the extent permitted by law without invalidating the remaining provisions. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and any expressly incorporated feature-specific conditions govern use of the platform, subject always to mandatory law. The Privacy Policy explains data practices and does not expand processing rights beyond what lawfully applies. Questions about these Terms may be directed to the operator’s contact email above.
